So many peoples asking me to write about local picnic, trip, holiday spot for 3-4 hrs/ half day. Therefore I listed some spots near Pune & PCMC and now starts writing about it.
Tourist attraction places near Nigdi are Bhakti Shakti - Garden, Durga tekdi, Ravet New bridge, Appu Ghar
, Ganesh Talav, Sunset Point, Sant Dyaneshwar Garden,ISKON temple, Ghoradeshwar, Birla Ganesh Statue, Sai Mandir Shirgaon, Dehu Mandir, Hanuman mandir etc.
To reach the garden one can take old mumbai pune highway & after crosing the Nigdi flyover, you can reach the Garden at left side in the main Chauk of the Nigdi pradhikaran. Garden is placed closed to main road & visible from the main road. You can also reach from akurdi. there is a straight route from akurdi railway station.
Bhakti Shakti Garden is the most famous evening spot in PCMC. It is also called PCMC Chowpati. Lots of the people vising this area even though area of the Garden is small. Special attraction is statue of the Shivaji Maharaj & Sant Tukaram and Garden area Surrounding this statue.
There is a special entertainment zone outside the Garden for childrens from 1-5 years, also So many stalls of the fast food & other items are available. You have a fun for your kids & also snakes take care of yourself. Therefore it is the perfect evening Partner to enjoy with family.
Garden is open from 6am to 8 am in the morning & 5 pm to 8:30 pm in the evening.
