We invite all for interesting Himalaya trek to Hampta with Outdoor Expert Ishani Sawant.

This is one of the most beautiful and feasible trek for all trekkers, Leads through the meadow of flowers, pine forest, oak and Rhodo, Over the Hampta pass 4200 mtrs to arid and dry Chandra valley as Compare to kullu Valley.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1:- Arrival Manali (2000 m.) Arrive in Manali check in hotel, after lunch walk to Hadimba temple and Siyali Mahadev Temple,Market, back to hotel, Dineer and packing for trek.

DAY 2:- Manali to Jwara (2500 m.) 5 hours. After breakfast drive to Prini, trek starts through Prini village, ascending to Saten village and offers extensive view of the Kullu valley and zigzag path brings you up slowly to the Khangpa village of Saten, who has migrated from Spiti long time back, one can have à cup of tea in a small teahouse, which will Refresh you. Easy walk of one hour to the campsite just after the village.

DAY 3:- Jwara to Balu Gyra (3300 m.) 5:30 hours. The trail begins by flat walking through the forest of Mapple, Silver Fir, Pine and Oak, paved by the grass and stone and fields of the wild flowers. Twice have to cross the river, Bank slopes down from the high cliffs all around and ideal location for the end of the day.

DAY 4:- Balu Gyra to Shea Gahru (3700 m.) over Hamta pass (4200m.) 5 to 6 hours. The trail begins to ascend towards the mighty Hamta pass, and soon distant valley of Lahoul/ Spiti comes in to view. From the pass one can enjoy the view of magnificent Himalayan peaks, Deo Tibba, Indra Asan, Indra Kila. Landscape is quite different. One hour of descend to the campsite.

DAY 5:- Shea Gahru to Chhatru Manali (3360 m.) Short day The trail descends towards the left bank of the « nalla ». Soon the Chandra River is in view after 3 hours reach Chatru. Drive to Manali through Chandra valley over Rohtang pass (4050 m.) the gateway between Lahoul/ Spiti and Kullu “valley of the Gods” Descending by snake-curved road through the pasture of wild flowers and forest of silver Oak, Fir, Popular and waterfalls will accompany till Manali, overnight at Campsite.

You Should bring the following

Day sack, cotton Shirts, cotton paints, woolen pullover, jacket, muffler, woolen cap, cotton and woolen socks, trekking shoes, gloves, light towel, chapplals, light rain coat or plastic sheet, sunglasses( other than blue color), torch with cell, electoral power, water bottle, petroleum jelly/ Vaseline / cold cream, toiletries, needle with thread, ball point pen, personal medical kit, soap etc.

All adult participants are required to sign a risk declaration as part of the registration process. In case of minor participants, parent consent and signature is mandatory for participation in our programs.
